Ghana Association Of Forex Bureaux Worried Over Continuous Attack On Members By Armed Robber

The Ghana Association of Forex Bureaux has issued a red alert to the Ghana Police Service on the continuous attack on its members by armed robbers.

According to the association, members are living in fear because of the attacks. 

In 2008 alone, 20 Forex Bureaux were attacked in Accra and Tema. Huge sums of money were lost during the attacks. 

An Executive Member of the Association, Usif Ibrahim Osman in an interview with GBC's Gloria Anderson said the association is engaging the police to find a lasting solution.

Mr. Ibrahim Osman said the Association, as a temporary measure has issued some directives to members to protect their businesses.
