THE MIRROR: Wishes Ghanaians a happy Easter which marks the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

The paper says though it acknowledges that the season reflects different meaning to different people, the main reason of the celebration which is total sacrifice should not be forgotten. 

The Mirror encourages the well to do in society to extend a helping hand to the needy and the vulnerable especially orphans since such acts depict the true character of Jesus. 

The Mirror reiterates its stance that the nation stands to benefit if citizens show love to one another. 
                        

THE SPECTATOR is also using the occasion to call on Ghanaians to do self introspection. 

The paper is alarmed at the greed, fraud, extortion and frightening false prophecies that some Christians engage in. 

The Spectator  finds the acts unfortunate because prophecies in the past were made to help people live upright lives. 

As Christians observe the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ the paper urges all particularly Christians to go back to the foundation of their faith which is winning souls for the Kingdom of God
