BasicNeeds-Ghana bemoans lack of funds for mental health care 

The Executive Director of BasicNeeds-Ghana, Peter Yaro, has bemoaned the inadequate funding for Mental Health Care delivery in Ghana. 

He said although the law provides for a Mental Health Fund, its absence poses a challenge to an effective Mental Health Care Service. 

Mr. Yaro made this known in Accra when BasicNeeds received support from STAR Ghana to improve mental health financing.
