Ghana and China sign agreement for construction of 50 million -dollar Jamestown fishing port complex

Ghana and China have signed an agreement for the construction of the Jamestown fishing port complex.  The 50 million dollar project is expected to commence this year. 

At the signing ceremony in Accra, the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta, said the complex when completed will enhance the productivity of the fisher folk and create about one thousand job opportunities for the youth in the community.
