Interior Ministry, BoG Collaborate To Protect Mobile Money Operators From Attacks

Ministry for the Interior and the Bank of Ghana are in talks to fashion out how to protect mobile money operators in the wake of recent attacks on them.

Minister for the Interior Ambrose Dery who disclosed this said the Central bank is supposed to come out with guidelines for operators. 

He said if possible Forex Bureau operators should fix CCTV to check who comes in and who goes out. 

The sector Minister said despite the shortfall as the minister in charge of internal security he will ensure that such operators and Ghanaians in general are safe.
