Eastern Corridor Fibre Optic infrastructure handed over to NITA

The Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu Ekuful, says in ensuring that Ghana's economy is completely digitised to propel development, it is imperative that all, irrespective of location are connected. 

This will enhance trade, services and reduce discrepancies in the system to a large extent. 

At the provisional handing over ceremony of the Eastern Corridor Fibre Optic infrastructure to the National Information Technology Agency, NITA under the Ministry of Communications by the Danish government, Mrs Ekuful, said the facility will promote inclusiveness since everyone will get easy access to information as well as improve governance.
