Ghana to get World Class Malaria treatment Center to manufacture Vaccines Ghana is to get the first world class malaria treatment facility in Africa which will conduct research and manufacture malaria vaccines. This follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the First Lady's Foundation, Infanta Malaria Prevention Foundation, Ghanaian owned technology firm, Aspirx, and Merck, a German health Institute. Construction of the facility which will be cited at Saglemi in Greater Accra will begin in September this year. This was announced at a scientific Forum to climax World Malaria Day.
