World Intellectual Property Day being observed today

World Intellectual Property Day is being observed today, April 26.

The day is used in celebrating women under the theme "Powering Change, Women in innovation and creativity". 

The UN Resident Coordinator, Christine Evans-Knock acknowledged the role of women in innovation to propel development.
