Local Governance Expert calls for review of 1992 Constitution to reflect current trends

Head of the  Department of Urban and Environmental Management at the Institute of Local Government Studies, Frederick Agyarko Oduro, says after 25 years of practising  the 1992 Constitution, it is about time the country reviewed  the constitution holistically. 

He told Ibrahim Kwarteng that this is necessary for the overhaul of the whole local governance architecture. 

Mr. Oduro said the mechanism for governance has implications for both development and democracy.
