Iran's Khamenei urges Muslim nations to unite against U.S

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has called on Muslim nations to unite against America in what he described as global arrogance. 

His comments come as the French President Emmanuel Macron said he might not have persuaded the US President, Donald Trump, to stick with the Iran nuclear deal.

The Ayatolla's message is also directed at Iran's enemies in the Muslim world, especially Saudi Arabia which has established close ties with the Trump administration.

He berated what he calls backward governments for fuelling war between muslim countries, making them less able to respond to Mr Trump's humiliating remarks. 

Reports say the anti-US rhetoric from Ayatollah Khamenei is rising, as President Trump's expected decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal approaches.

Mr Trump since assuming office has taken a confrontational stance on the Obama era deal.
