UG Collegiate System: Prof. Akilakpa Sawyerr chairs 24-member review panel 

In a bid to improve the University of Ghana governance system, a 24 member review panel of the collegiate system of governance, chaired by former Vice Chancellor, Professor Akilagpa Sawyerr, has been put in place to provide a platform for students to have flexibility in the choice of programmes and courses they want to pursue. 

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony in Accra, the Vice Chancellor of University of Ghana, Legon, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu said the old system appears to be prolonging issues instead of fast-tracking them.
